Mission Blue is a project consisting of Dana Frankel on fiddle and her dad, Avram Frankel, on guitar along with a rotating cast of special guests. Long time veterans of the Bay Area bluegrass scene, they deliver hard driving traditional bluegrass laced with their special brand of father-daughter harmonies. Dana has grown up in the Northern California bluegrass community and is recognized as one of the most promising young up and coming California bluegrass fiddlers. She is thrilled to be a part of this new project, along with her other bands The Dim Lights and Pacific Drive. With Mission Blue, Dana and Avram are both excited to branch off and play in a new configuration with a variety of special guests at every gig. We’d love to see you at our next performance.
