Annie Staninec is a uniquely gifted fiddle player, bringing driving rhythm, musicality and joyful exuberance to every performance. She has performed in over 20 countries with artists spanning from Peter Rowan to Rod Stewart, and is on countless recordings in a variety of musical styles. Annie has been receiving musical recognition and awards since a young age, and her fiddling is 100% guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
Annie will be joined by her musical partner John Kael, a founding member of Whiskey Deaf, a multi-instrumentalist and award-winning songwriter, and also Yoseff Tucker and Katya Polovina Tucker. Yoseff has a passion for finding bluegrass and early country gems, and also for writing many of his own, and he sings them high and lonesome. An award-winning flatpicker and singer, Yoseff has toured the world with Jeff Scroggins and the Scroggdogs, and is a founding member of the Central Valley Boys, the California Bow Ties, and more recently Grasswood. Katya plays the upright bass, sings lead and harmony, and performs regularly with the Blue and Lonesome Band and Grasswood, in addition to Whiskey Deaf.
