Amy Scher and Hailey Pexton are a duo formed from their shared love of California’s long-standing tradition of bluegrass and honky tonk country music. Their music calls to the familiar sounds of the Central Valley’s Vern Williams Band and Bakersfield’s Buck Owens, with magnetic vocal harmonies that nod to sibling duets such as the Louvin Brothers, Davis Sisters, and Stanley Brothers. Together, Amy (on fiddle and guitar) and Hailey (on guitar and mandolin) perform a diverse selection of songs ranging from spooky waltzes to playful driving classics.
